We are looking for a hardworking person, who has great organizational and leadership skills to help lead Custards Last Stand as an assistant manager.
The assistant manager will be responsible for all the daily activities of the store when on duty as well as working with the manager to help Custard's staff provide a timely and high quality product and experience for all customers.
Assistant Manager Duties:
Opening and closing the store Assist the Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers Coordinate daily aspects of the store and employee to optimize the customer's experience Monitor and maintain store inventory Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best Handle any customers service issues Ensure the store is kept clean and safe Make sure all employees adhere to company's policies and guidelines Act as our store's representative and set an example for our staff As well as preforming the duties of a scooper when applicable:
Assist customers in selecting flavors and toppings Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ice cream shop Prepare ice cream cones, sundaes, and other desserts according to customer requests Follow proper food handling and safety procedures Stock and replenish ice cream supplies as needed Assist with cleaning dining area Skills:
Leadership skills:
motivating and empowering team through actions and words Prioritization:
must have the ability to prioritize and complete competing tasks Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers Basic math skills for handling cash transactions Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment - Note:
Previous experience as an ice cream scooper or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
